Bye Bye Birdie opens March 2 at the Barton Theater in Glenwood, Iowa,
marking the first time the Mills Masquers have staged this show. Set in
1958, Birdie was written as a satire on American society. The original
Broadway production was a Tony Award-winning success, launching countless
community theater and school productions. Birdie is directed by Craig
Florian, produced by Connie Allan and features Mike Lynes, Nanci Vieyra and
Lois Pitchfork. It will be staged weekends March 2-11. Sunday shows are 2:00
p.m. matinees; all others are 7:30 p.m. curtains.
